Based on your flight schedule, our driver will be waiting for you at the entrance of Marrakech Menara Airport to greet you and begin our Ultimate 8-day Moroccan Adventure. Following that, we will arrange transportation to your Hotel/Riad, where you will spend the first night.

On the third day of our one-week tour of Morocco from Marrakech to Tangier, we will begin our journey in the morning, depending on the agreed time during your booking process. We will travel across the High Atlas Mountains, where we will discover majestic Berber villages disguised in the landscape. Then we will continue to Ait Ben Haddou. We will climb until we reach the top of the Kasbah, with a nice panoramic view. The Kasbah is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The location has been utilized as a backdrop for numerous Hollywood films, including “Lawrence of Arabia”, “Gladiator”, “Kingdom of Heaven”, “Prince of Persia” and numerous others. The Kasbahs (fortresses) reflect Moroccan architecture & culture. After exploring the kasbah, we will continue our road to Ouarzazate.
Then, we will continue our journey across the road of thousands of Kasbahs and Oasis to see a huge valley with a small oasis and hundreds of ancient fortifications. We will reach the Rose Valley. After a 50-minute drive, we will arrive at our destination, Boumalne Dades, where we will spend the night in an authentic lodge with dinner and breakfast.
We begin our expedition towards Todra Gorge by traveling through the enchanting Berber villages. Along the way, we’ll pause to appreciate the stunning Todra Valley, a landscape abundant with palm trees. Our ultimate destination is Todra Gorges, a renowned hub for rock climbing in Morocco. Here, we’ll take a brief stroll through the towering gray and pink canyons.
Following our walk inside the Todra Gorges, we’ll head to Tinjdad and Touroug, where we’ll break for a satisfying lunch. Our journey then continues to Erfoud, which marks the commencement of the Saharan oasis of Tafilalet.
Afterward, we’ll press on toward the magnificent Erg Chebbi dunes. Upon arrival, you’ll embark on an approximately 1.5-hour camel ride to reach the desert camp. During this camel trek, you’ll have the opportunity to pause in the midst of the dunes to witness a captivating sunset, try out sandboarding if you wish, capture memorable photographs, and immerse yourself in the breathtaking desert landscape. As the sun sets, we’ll make our way to the camp, where you’ll be greeted with a refreshing glass of mint tea.
Your evening at the Merzouga desert camp will include a delectable dinner, a comforting campfire, lively music, and the chance to spend the night beneath the starry desert sky.
Following an early morning, you’ll have the opportunity to witness a breathtaking sunrise over the Erg Chebbi sand dunes. Later, you can choose to return to the village via either a camel ride or a 4WD jeep, depending on your preference.
Our journey will then take us to the city of Fes, with a route that includes passing through Errachidia city. On the way, we’ll make a stop at a scenic viewpoint overlooking the Ziz Valley. Continuing our trip, we’ll head to Midelt for lunch, and from there, we’ll traverse the Cedar Forest, where you can spot the Barbary macaque and explore the vast cedar forest. Our next destination is Ifrane, where we’ll enjoy a brief visit to the city. Afterward, we’ll resume our journey towards Fes City.
You will spend the day on a guided tour of Fez, the cultural capital and one of the world’s most well-preserved medieval Islamic cities. Explore the Andalusian neighborhood and its beautiful mosque by entering through Bab Ftouh. Go to Seffarine via the areas of tanning, dyeing, and copper production.
The oldest mosque in Africa is located on the grounds of the University of Al-Karaouine. Take a moment to rest in front of Idris I’s tomb, the man credited with founding Fes. You must see the famous fountain in Nejjarine whenever you visit the area. Lastly, stop by the stunning Nejjarine Museum of Wood Arts and Crafts. In the afternoon, you will visit the Attarine Medersa.
We will continue exploring the medina and halt in front of the “blue Gate” of Fes, Bab Boujouloud. Stop at Borj Norj on your tour of the city walls for a breathtaking panorama of the medina below. Learn about the history of the area once inhabited by Jews and see the outside of the Imperial Palace. The pottery neighborhood is up next. Next, on the outskirts of the city, you’ll visit an artisanal complex before heading back to your Riad.
Today, we will head towards the blue city of Chefchaouen through the Rif Mountains. On our way, we will have time to discover the Roman ruins of Volubilis. After that, we will start our journey. Upon arrival in the city of Chefchaouen, you will have free time to discover the best places to visit, eat, and see.
Firstly, take a stroll through the streets and alleyways of Medina to explore the whitewashed walls and beautiful blue buildings and doors. Then wander through the old town market. We will also stop in the main square of Chefchaouen. Furthermore, you will have the chance to see the Ras Elma River, which flows through the old city.
On the last day of your remarkable 8-Day Moroccan Adventure: From Marrakech to Tangier, you’ll bid farewell to the enchanting blue city of Chefchaouen and embark on the final journey towards Tangier.
The arrangements will be tailored depending on your flight time, ensuring a smooth and convenient departure. If you have an early flight, you’ll be transferred directly to Tangier Airport, where you can catch your flight back home or to your next destination. If your flight is later in the day, you’ll have the opportunity to explore Tangier further or relax at your hotel, soaking in the last moments of your 8 Days Moroccan trip from Marrakech to Tangier.
