Experience the Best Semester at Desert Plan, a thrilling adventure designed for students, from Tangier to Marrakech. Explore the Merzouga Sahara Desert with ATV quad biking, camel rides, and a refreshing desert swimming pool, enjoy cultural visits to nomadic villages and Gnawa music, and soar above Marrakech in a hot air balloon at sunrise. Travel through the Todra Gorges, Dades Valley, Valley of Roses, and Ait Ben Haddou, with scenic High Atlas Mountains views, combining adventure, culture, and comfort for an unforgettable Morocco student Tour experience.

In the late afternoon, you will take the train from Tangier (around 5:00 PM) to Casablanca Airport. This timing allows a smooth check-in for your 10:00 PM flight to Errachidia. Upon arrival in Errachidia close to midnight, we will personally meet you at the airport and transfer you directly to the Merzouga desert area (approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes).
Because of the late arrival, we recommend staying overnight in a comfortable desert hotel rather than the camp, so your children can rest well after the travel day.
After breakfast, you will begin a full desert discovery day around Merzouga and the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi.
In the morning, you will visit a nomadic family living near the dunes. You will share tea and learn about their daily life, traditions, and how families adapt to desert conditions. This experience allows authentic cultural exchange in a relaxed environment.
You will also visit Khamlia village to experience traditional Gnawa music, performed by descendants of Sub-Saharan African communities.
For lunch, you will join Nomads for a traditional meal and participate in preparing Berber pizza (Madfouna), a fun and interactive cooking activity that children usually enjoy very much.
In the afternoon, enjoy a gentle camel ride toward the oasis at a comfortable family pace. You will walk through palm groves and watch the sunset over the dunes.
Overnight will be in a luxury desert camp with private tent and bathroom. Dinner will be served under the stars, followed by soft traditional music around the fire (optional and relaxed atmosphere).
After breakfast, you will depart for Rissani, a traditional market town and the historical birthplace of Morocco’s ruling dynasty. If it is market day, you will see authentic local trade, spices, dates, and traditional livestock markets.
Continue to the spectacular Todra Gorges, where you can take a short, easy walk between the impressive canyon walls. The area is safe and suitable for children, with beautiful photo opportunities.
In the afternoon, drive to the Dades Valley, famous for its unusual rock formations often called “Monkey Fingers.” Overnight in a charming guesthouse surrounded by mountains.
After breakfast, travel through the Valley of Roses toward Ouarzazate, known as the gateway to the desert.
You will visit the UNESCO World Heritage site of Ait Ben Haddou, one of Morocco’s most famous fortified villages. It has been used as a filming location for many international movies. You can walk through its ancient clay architecture and climb to the top for panoramic views.
In the afternoon, cross the High Atlas Mountains via the scenic Tizi n’Tichka Pass, enjoying spectacular landscapes along the way. Arrival in Marrakech in the evening. Overnight in a comfortable riad in the Medina.
Today, start your day with a hot air balloon ride over the Atlas Mountains and the surroundings. Enjoy the sunrise and the stunning views.
Afterwards, the day is free for you to explore Marrakech. Wander the streets, visit the markets, taste local specialties, or relax in a café. The afternoon is yours to enjoy the city at your own pace.
Overnight in Marrakech.

EXCELLENT Based on 320 reviews Posted on giorgia rVerified Great tour An incredible experience, exceptional tour we saw incredible places, the hotels were all high quality, very kind staff. Thanks to our guide IbrahimPosted on Lance KVerified 9-day tour through Morocco We did a custom 9-day private tour starting in Marrakech, through Dades valley then the deserts near Merzouga, continuing to Fes, Chefchaouen, and ending in Rabat/Casablanca, with stops along the way. Highlight was camping in the Sahara desert -- riding camels through the sands to reach the campsite, feeling the soft orange sands run through your fingers, listening to the drums by the fire under the stars -- it was quite the sensory experience. Our guide/driver Hsaine / Hassan was punctual, professional, and knowledgeable in many subject matters, able to converse in multiple languages. Highly recommended.Posted on Maria Teresa LVerified Unforgettable 8 days starting from Marrakech, then several stops to Fez. Then Casablanca for the last day. I recommend not only the tour, but also the Desert Discovery Tour organization run by a very good young Mustafà. With him we were able to further customize the trip already set according to our wishes. Also thanks to the flexibility of the talented driver Brahim, who accompanied us throughout the tour. He drives with confidence and is very courteous and smiling. He is learning our language but between Italian and Spanish we understood each other. On time in meeting times.Thank you Brahim! Thanks Mohammed, Yussef and thanks to all the local guides who explained the various tours very well.We will definitely invite friends to lean on you!Posted on Filippo PVerified Beutifull Morocco Beautiful, relaxing e very interesting, with the discover of a lot of unknown things abou Beutifull Marocco.
