On Day 1, arrive in Tangier to find our driver waiting for you outside the airport and start your 10-day Allure Morocco Tour, head straight to the famous Hercules Caves and Cape Spartel, where the Atlantic Ocean meets the Mediterranean Sea. After marveling at these natural wonders, wander through the bustling medina, visiting shops and the Kasbah Museum. Overnight stay in Tangier city.
On the second day, we will leave Tangier and travel to Tetuan, where you can explore its UNESCO-listed medina and visit the Ethnographic Museum. After lunch, continue to Chefchaouen, the famous blue city in the Rif Mountains. Check into your hotel and spend the evening wandering the beautiful blue streets, visiting local shops and cafes, and enjoying the peaceful atmosphere., overnight stay in the blue city.
On Day 3, we will depart from Chefchaouen and head towards the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis. Spend the morning exploring the well-preserved ruins and learning about the history of this UNESCO World Heritage Site. Afterward, travel to Meknes, where you can visit the impressive Bab Mansour gate and the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail. In the afternoon, continue your journey to Fes where you will have an overnight stay.
On the third day of our trip, you will have a Fes Guided Tour, where you will walk through the walled streets and watch the daily procession of mourners entering the tomb of Fez’s founder Moulay Idriss II. The Medina of Fez was founded in the 9th century and is home to the oldest university in the world.
Spend the day exploring the old city, visiting, Mederassa Bou Inania, the tanneries, and the splendid Funduk Nejjarine, a beautifully restored 18th-century inn. You will have also a chance to explore the Tanneries, Ceramic factories,… and much more. Overnight stay in Fes at an authentic Riad.
We’re continuing our 10-day Morocco Discovery Tour and moving on from Fes to the Sahara desert via a scenic road that is full of plenty of attractions on the way. Our first stop will be in Ifrane, known as the Switzerland of Morocco for its alpine climate. Then, we’ll pass through hills covered in forests of cork oak and large cedar trees, where we will have a chance to see the monkeys. We’ll cross the Middle Atlas mountains and get our first look at the unique architecture of southern Morocco. Going down into the desert plains, the scenery changes from tall mountains to a big oasis with many fortified villages and Ksours.
Then, we’ll reach a wide, stony area that marks the edge of the Sahara. As the sun goes down, we’ll ride camels into the orange dunes. You’ll have plenty of time to explore and enjoy the vast Merzouga desert dunes. When the sun sets, we’ll have a Moroccan dinner with live music by the campfire. Afterward, you can explore again, this time under a sky full of stars and the quietness of the Sahara night.
On Day 6 of our Morocco Travel Itinerary 10 Days, wake up early to experience a breathtaking sunrise in the Merzouga Desert, enjoying the serene beauty of the vast dunes. After breakfast, travel to Rissani, where you can explore the local market and learn about the region’s history. Continue your journey to the Todra Gorges, marveling at the towering cliffs and narrow canyons. In the afternoon, head to the stunning Dades Valley, known for its dramatic rock formations and lush landscapes. Check into your accommodation and spend the evening relaxing and taking in the natural beauty of the valley.
On Day 7, we will leave the scenic Dades Valley behind and embark on a journey to Marrakech. Along the way, stop in Ouarzazate, known as the gateway to the Sahara Desert. Explore the historic Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage site with its impressive mud-brick architecture. Journey through the High Atlas Mountains, admiring the stunning landscapes and picturesque Berber villages. Finally, arrive in Marrakech, where you can check into your hotel and unwind after a day of travel.
Take a day trip from Marrakech to Essaouira. Start early to make the most of your time. We will drive for around 3H, after we arrive at Essaouira, You will Explore Essaouira’s charming harbor and historic medina, a UNESCO site. Enjoy fresh seafood for lunch at a seaside cafe. Relax on Essaouira’s sandy beaches in the afternoon. Return to Marrakech in the evening.
On the last day tour of our 10-day Morocco travel itinerary, we will pick you up from the Riad/Hotel to the Airport, either in Marrakech or Casablanca, where we will finish our 10 Days Morocco discovery Tour.
