Your Morocco student tour begins the moment you touch down in Marrakech. Don’t worry about a thing once you arrive – we’ll have someone ready to greet you and take you straight to your hotel. Free time in Marrakech, and overnight stay.
We will start our journey in the morning, depending on the agreed time. We will travel across the Atlas Mountains, where we will discover authentic Berber villages. Then we will continue to Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, where we will have a sightseeing tour until we reach the top of the Kasbah, with a nice panoramic view. The castle is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It has been used as a site for shooting numerous Hollywood Movies, including “Lawrence of Arabia”, “Gladiator”, “Kingdom of Heaven”, “Prince of Persia”, and much more… The Kasbahs (fortresses) reflect Moroccan architecture & culture. After exploring the castle, we will continue our road to Ouarzazate city.
Then, continue our trip across the road of thousands of Kasbahs and Oases to enjoy the valley with a small oasis and hundreds of ancient castles. We will reach the Roses Valley. Then after 50 50-minute drive, we’ll arrive at our destination “Dades valley“ where we’ll stay overnight in a Riad.
After breakfast at the hotel, we will depart for the Sahara desert, via the Todra Gorge across the Berber villages. We’ll stop to enjoy the beautiful Todra Valley full of palm trees before we arrive at the Gorges that are currently one of the most popular rock climbing destinations in Morocco. Here we will have a short walk through the canyons. After that, we’ll head to Tinjdad and Touroug, where we’ll have lunch, then to Erfoud, which will be the beginning Saharan oasis of Tafilalet.
Afterward, we will continue our Morocco student desert tour to the majestic Erg Chebbi dunes from here you will go on a camel ride for about 1H30 min to reach the desert camp, during the Camel trek you will take a break in the middle of the dunes to watch the sunset, venture with the sand boarding (optional), take photos and enjoy the scenery… after the sun goes down you will continue to the camp where you will be welcomed with a glass of mint tea, dinner, campfire, music party, spend the night at a Merzouga desert camp, dinner & breakfast included.
Today, please keep in mind that we have a long drive back from the Merzouga desert to Marrakech. You will wake up early to enjoy the sunrise over the orange dunes. After your breakfast in the camp, we will head back to Merzouga from the desert camp by 4×4 vehicle or camel ride, depending on your choice.
We’ll head back directly to Marrakech, On to the final leg of our tour where we’ll travel through Nqob before arriving in Draa Valley. Later again at the city of Ouarzazate. We’ll enjoy a leisurely lunch. Finally, keep going back to Marrakech through the Atlas Mountains, we will reach Marrakech at approximately 8:00 PM.
