Day 1:Tangier - Bue city of Chefchaouen

We’ll pick you up from the port or airport to start our 6-day Desert trip from Tangier to Merzouga. Our journey begins with a scenic drive through the Rif Mountains. If you arrive in the morning, we’ll quickly stop at Cape Spartel and the Hercules Caves before heading to Chefchaouen. Along the way, enjoy stunning landscapes of forests, fields, and rivers. In Chefchaouen, the Blue City, you’ll have free time to wander and explore its enchanting streets.

Day 2:Chefchaouen - Fes (Guided Tour of Fes)

Depart from Chefchaouen to Fes, with an approximate 4-hour drive. Upon arrival in Fes, our exploration begins in the Medina of Fez (Fes el Bali), entering through the iconic Bab Bou Jeloud (Blue Gate) and immersing ourselves in the bustling souks. We’ll visit the Bou Inania Madrasa, a magnificent display of Moroccan architecture, and the historic University of Al Quaraouiyine, recognized as the world’s oldest university. Delve into the vibrant atmosphere of the Chouara Tanneries and pay homage at the Mausoleum of Moulay Idriss II. Marvel at the ornate golden gates of the Royal Palace of Fez (Dar el-Makhzen), then enrich our understanding of Moroccan art and culture at the Dar Batha Museum.

Day 3: Fes - Ifrane - Cedar Forest - Midelt - Ziz valley - Merzouga Desert (Camel ride & night in a desert camp)

Today, we will journey to the Sahara Desert, passing through Ifrane, often called the “Moroccan Switzerland.” Our next stop will be the Cedar Forest, where we can watch monkeys climb trees. We will then continue through the Middle Atlas mountains and the Ziz Valley, one of southern Morocco’s largest palm groves and oases. Our 6-day Tangier desert tour proceeds to Erfoud, a city known for its fossil museums and factories.

Upon reaching Merzouga, we will ride a camel into the Merzouga Sahara desert to witness an unforgettable sunset. You can also try sandboarding on Erg Chebbi’s dunes. We will spend a special night in a Sahara desert camp, sleeping in private nomadic tents, similar to the Berbers.
