Take an 8 days tour of Morocco from Fes, including two nights in a desert camp to experience the nomad lifestyle. This 8-day Morocco tour from Fes covers imperial cities like Fes and Marrakech, camel trekking in the Sahara near Erg Chebbi, travel through the Atlas Mountains, and visits to sites such as Ait Ben Haddou. Designed for travelers seeking a full 8-day Morocco itinerary, this tour combines culture, adventure, and desert life with local guides to provide a complete experience.

Based on your flight schedule, our driver will be waiting for you at the gate of Fes Sais Airport to greet you and begin our 8-day Morocco tour from Fes. After that, we will arrange a transfer to the Hotel/Riad, where you will spend the first night of the trip.
Today, we will explore the historical city of Fes with an expert local guide. Fes is known as the cultural capital and one of the world’s most well-preserved medieval Islamic cities. Discover the mosques in the Andalusian neighborhood. Follow the copper production, tanning, and dyeing areas to Seffarine.
The grounds of the University of Al-Karaouine are home to Africa’s oldest mosque. Take a moment to relax in the presence of Idris I’s tomb, the individual who is credited with the establishment of Fes. When you come to Nejjarine, you have to see the famous fountain. Lastly, stop by the stunning Nejjarine Museum of Wood Arts and Crafts. You will visit the Attarine Medersa in the afternoon.
We’ll keep walking through the medina and stop in front of Bab Boujouloud, Fes’s “blue Gate.” If you’re walking along the city walls, stop at Borj Norj to get a stunning view of the medina below. See the outside of the Imperial Palace and learn about the history of the area where Jews used to live. Next up is the pottery factory, Ceramic. Upon returning to your Riad, you will visit an artisanal complex located at the heart of the city. Second Night in Fes.
Start our 8-day Morocco road trip and head to the Merzouga Desert. We’ll stop along the way in Ifrane, which is renowned for its stunning mountains and valleys and is referred to as Morocco’s “Little Switzerland.”
We’ll then go to Cedar Forest, where you can take great pictures and meet friendly monkeys. After lunch, we’ll drive through the scenic Tizi n Talghamt Pass, passing through Errachidia city and wandering around the stunning Ziz Valley Gorge.
The last stop on our trip is the Erg Chebbi dunes. You will arrive at our Merzouga desert camp by riding camels across the dunes. See the sun go down from the dunes, then have a tasty dinner and spend the night under the stars in a Merzouga desert camp.
On Day 5 of the 8-day Morocco tour, experience the stunning sunrise over Erg Chebbi dunes. After breakfast at the luxury desert camp, return to Merzouga by camel or 4×4, then visit Rissani’s fossil museum and traditional market. Continue through Berber villages like Mellab and Tinjdad before exploring the breathtaking Todra Gorges. Finish the day with an overnight stay in Dades Valley.
Today, we will travel to Ouarzazate, passing through the Skoura oasis and the Roses Valley on our way to the UNESCO World Heritage site of Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, which is situated 27 kilometers outside of Ouarzazate. List of Hollywood films—” Lawrence of Arabia,” “Gladiator,” “Kingdom of Heaven,” “Prince of Persia,” and many more—have taken advantage of its stunning landscapes for filming. Kasbahs, which are fortified palaces, are a symbol of Morocco’s unique architecture and culture.
Once we have completed our visit to the kasbah, we will traverse the “Tichka pass” in the Atlas Mountains and arrive in Marrakech, where we will spend the night.
Take a walk through Marrakech with a local guide who will show you the city’s best spots. See well-known locations like Koutoubia Mosque and Jemaa el-Fna Square, as well as the bustling souks, serene Majorelle Garden, and stunning Bahia Palace. Discover the history of these locations and take in Marrakech’s sights, sounds, and colors for an unforgettable trip.
