We will start our 6 Days Fes to Marrakech Tour departs to the Sahara Desert via Ifrane known as “Moroccan Switzerland”. Further, to the Cedar forest where we will stop to enjoy watching the monkeys climb the cedars. Then continue via the Middle Atlas mountains and the Ziz valley, one of the largest palm groves & oases in southern Morocco. Our 6 Days Morocco Sahara Expedition goes on to Erfoud, famous for its fossil Museums & Factories. Finally, we will make it to the Merzouga desert where you will spend the first night at the Hotel.

Today, after breakfast, we’ll go on a discovery tour of Merzouga. Our first stop will be an area inhabited by Nomads who traditionally herd animals like camels, goats, and sheep. We’ll spend some time with them to gain a deeper understanding of their lifestyle. Next, we’ll visit the Mifiss lead mine and then head to Khamlia, a small town about 5 kilometers from Merzouga. Here, you’ll learn about the unique aspects of Gnaoua culture, which has preserved its traditional customs. You’ll also gain insights into many other fascinating locations.

In the afternoon, you’ll enjoy a camel ride lasting about 1 hour and 30 minutes to reach the desert camp. During the ride, you’ll pause in the dunes to watch the sunset, try optional sand boarding, take photos, and soak in the scenery. After the sunset, you’ll proceed to the camp, where you’ll be greeted with a glass of mint tea. You’ll have dinner, enjoy a campfire and music party, and spend the night in a luxury desert camp in Merzouga, with breakfast and dinner included.

On the 3rd day of our 6-day tour from Fes to the Sahara Desert, we will experience a Moroccan Sahara Adventure in a 4WD vehicle. We’ll follow the route of the Paris-Dakar Rally until we reach the palm groves of Ouzina, where we can enjoy tea and the warm hospitality of a Berber family. We’ll visit the charming Ramlia Village, known as the pearl of the Sahara Desert, before continuing to Tafraoute Sidi Ali. Once we reach there, we will go to one of the orange dunes to enjoy an incredible sunset, afterward, we will head towards the hotel for an overnight stay.

After breakfast, we’ll visit the Dades Gorges and take a short walk in the area. We’ll then return to the car and continue our trip to Ouarzazate. Our journey takes us through the Valley of the Roses, renowned for its Rose Festival in May and its production of valued cosmetics and toiletry items. In Skoura, we’ll stop at the oasis to visit Kasbah Amredhil, a beautifully restored kasbah made entirely of adobe, showcasing traditional life and providing excellent insulation. After about 45 minutes, we’ll reach Ouarzazate, where we’ll visit the Atlas Studio and Taourirt Kasbah before spending the night in a Hotel in Ouarzazate.
